For Therapists who want Confidence as well as Competence
You can be a capable therapist… and still feel like you’re getting it wrong.
Second-guessing your formulations.
Over-preparing for sessions.
Worrying you’ve missed something important.
Supervision shouldn’t just reassure you — it should help you trust your clinical judgement.
Supervision is more than reviewing cases.
It’s a space to think clearly, reflect honestly, and grow into a confident, grounded therapist — not just a capable one on paper.
I offer CBT supervision and private practice mentorship for therapists who are committed, conscientious, and hold themselves to high standards… yet may still experience self-doubt, perfectionism, or worries about getting things wrong.
Alongside clinical thinking and ethical practice, our work can include the therapist experience behind the work — building confidence, easing pressure, and developing a secure professional identity.
I am a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with nearly 20 years’ experience across NHS, corporate health, private insurance, and independent practice.
Who I Work With
This supervision may be a good fit if you:
- Are newly qualified or building confidence in your practice
- Work with anxiety, stress, perfectionism, or workplace-related issues
- Tend to be self-critical or hold high expectations of yourself
- Over-prepare, overthink, or struggle to switch off after sessions
- Worry about making mistakes or “missing something important”
- Want a space that supports both your clinical skills and your confidence
You don’t need to feel fully confident to belong in supervision.
That’s part of what supervision is for.

My Approach
Though our work together you can expect to:
- Feel more confident in your clinical decisions and formulations
-
- Reduce overthinking and second-guessing between sessions
- Trust your judgement without needing constant reassurance
- Feel more grounded and present in your sessions
- Develop a stronger, more secure sense of yourself as a therapist
- Manage the emotional impact of the work without it spilling into your personal life
My aim is supervision that feels thoughtful, practical, and genuinely supportive of both your clinical work and your professional growth.
Mentorship & Additional Support
If you’re setting up or growing your private practice, I also offer mentorship alongside supervision.
This can include:
- Building confidence in your work
- Navigating private practice decisions
- Managing the emotional side of working independently
Supervision, Mentorship or Blended Support
Many therapists choose a blended approach, allowing space for:
-
Clinical reflection and
-
The realities of building or sustaining private practice
The balance is agreed collaboratively and reviewed regularly, ensuring supervision remains ethical, reflective, and clinically grounded.
Please get in touch to discuss your supervision needs or arrange an informal conversation.
